Kelly Cibart secured her first West Coast Women’s Tour victory on August 1 at Buffalo Billiards in Petaluma, California, by running undefeated through four straight hill-hill matches. The tournament featured a strong field of thirty-eight women from across the state and region, with Director Cony Mendoza overseeing an event that included streaming coverage alongside local sponsorships supporting the prize pool.
Cibart advanced past tough competition including Khanh Ngo (5-4) before facing former coach Jackie Karol in the hot seat match where she won 5-4 after being down three times. In the final, Janna Nelson had recovered from an opening loss to defeat Karol and reach Cibart with nine consecutive wins; however, Cibart managed a nerve-racking finish by winning the last rack on a back cut for a decisive 5-4 victory over her former coach's student.
